Large 1880s Scarce Ice Cream-chocolate Pewter Mold Child & Cornucopia Many Parts
This is one of the larger molds made for ice cream or chocolate forms, this one measuring about 11″ L and 9″ high. It is complete, though having some of the pins replaced. It will need some adjustment if one wants to use it since the metal is very soft and has been misshapen in part, especially at the juncture of the head of the figure and its adjoining mold part. However due to the soft metal some careful maneuvering should remedy that. I sell it as an artifact which has been described by others as being made in the 1880’s, and as found. It weighs about 8 pounds. Check out my other items. Most of my items close on Sunday evenings, 9:00 Central. Im Always happy to take questions or comments.
